Improved Search of County Cases:

Added Content & New Features:
- Ability to browse the PA D & C Reports Advance Sheets.
- PA Superior Court Opinions Updates arranged by year and month.
- Court Notices as they appear in The Legal Intelligencer listed on one page by date.
- Court Rule Updates - as amendments are issued by the court, changes are noted in red with a link to the updated text of the rule.
- Recent opinions from the following counties: Armstrong, Beaver, Fayette, Dauphin, Lackawanna, Lawrence, Luzerne, Mercer, and Northampton.
Our primary goal is to continue adding county level documents to our growing content. We are accomplishing this with the assistance of the judges, administrators and librarians from the Pennsylvania common pleas courts and the local bar associations from each of the 67 counties. They have recognized the need to preserve and make accessible their common pleas court opinions. In addition, palawlibrary.com also receives a daily flow of documents from American Lawyer Media.
The most up-to-date news can be found on the site under What's New? and the most noteworthy announcements will also appear on the front page.
Philadelphia, PA, October 2002palawlibrary.com has announced the addition of two award-winning legal newspapers to its unique research Web site. The News Archive database includes the last 5 years of articles from The Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly newspapers and is full-text searchable.
The content from these two publications will allow users to do a wealth of vital legal research on stories about everything from significant verdicts to precedent-setting opinions to detailed analyses of important trends in Pennsylvania’s courts.
The addition of the two newspapers will also give subscribers access to stories on law firms and business trends, court administration issues, judicial profiles and races, and a host of other material that makes Palawlibrary.com the most detailed and Pennsylvania-intensive legal research Web site on the market.
palawlibrary.com is an important tool for the Pennsylvania legal researcher. Unlike other online services, it has judicial opinions pertinent to Pennsylvania from the county, state and federal courts searchable at one site. With the addition of the News Archives, palawlibrary is now a "must search" site for someone doing comprehensive legal research. In addition to news and judicial opinions, palawlibrary includes the Pennsylvania District & County Reports, court rules, jury awards, out of court settlements, court trial listings, lawsuits filed, and court notices. This easy to use Web site offers a 30-day free trial that allows full access to all databases.
palawlibrary.com is the result of a strategic alliance between the Jenkins Law Library, America's first law library and the Pennsylvania Division of American Lawyer Media (ALM), a legal journalism and information company. Its goal is to be the most comprehensive resource for both Pennsylvania State and county legal information.
